Fetch Intermediate

The Golden trio competed in the Greater Austin Doberman Pinscher Club Fetch Test today! We were back at the same location as our Novice Fetch Tests. This time the tests were run back-to-back, which meant the dogs were retrieving 8 times in a row! Definitely a mental stamina test for the puppies. I discovered that Waverly is less like to run victory laps on her retrieve if she has a ball vs. a bumper, so I found some balls that don't squeak at Petsmart and bought them. There was extremely high wind today, so instead of me throwing the toys, a volunteer dropped them the appropriate distance away. A big change from the way we train! All the dogs handled it beautifully and all three earned their Fetch Intermediate titles! Bonus, our friend Lisa Tapia was there taking professional photos of the Fetch Tests.
